there are a couple of disparate things goin on here: the art & the fashion. in my mind, they are nearly inseperable, with the latter firmly dependent upon the former. i guess in my mind all of my artwork together tells the story. in the book i am writing & illustrating the characters wear the clothing i make, so that the fantasy world of my graphic novel slips off the pages and into the reality of our world...this is how i like to live, as if i just emerged from another story to step into this one with the freshest perspective.
